Secondary Research

Secondary Research
I would be using the internet as one of my secondary research. The type of topics I would be researching would be from Virgin Media Shorts.

The Hobby

Within this specific film, there are areas that I would use within our media production. ( the man) who has this type of issue of killing and he find it as a hobby enlightens me. Within our media production ( a girl) who is possessed or has issues mentally is going to be  randomly killing people who she knew from her past or has bullied her. So having seen this video, having the shots change every time a step was taken, would get the audience attention, also how the story line is explained at the end is very clever, as it allows the audience to understand how everything has happened. So from this footage there is an element which  ( the girl) disappears. That creates a sharp tense moment, within the short film I would be having similar elements, where there would be scenes where the main character would be disappearing from different locations.

Protect Myself

within this specific film, there is an area where the girl beats the boy up with magic or some mysterious way. Within our media production we are aiming to have these types of effects added within our short film. When the boyfriend runs away from the ex and the girl starts to get a photo of the boy and starts to play around with it, that effect where there is black magic, we are trying to add within our production.
  • Black magic
  • Mysterious type of events happening where no one knows where it is coming from
  • There is a scene within our production where there is a CCTV and the girl and her friend can be seen normally when she is walking with her towards the normal camera, yet within the CCTV you can't see her.
  • Paranormal activity type of elements, where there is a mysterious element which no one knows where it came from.
